Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Daily Impact mobile app and website. By using Daily Impact, you agree to these Terms.

The service

Daily Impact provides challenge-based experiences, sponsor content, educational materials, a global leaderboard, and impact summaries. Campaign outcomes, sponsor funding timing, and nonprofit allocations depend on live campaigns and partner agreements.

Eligibility

You must have capacity to agree to these Terms under your local law. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent you are authorized to bind that organization.

Accounts, consent, and data

Daily Impact may store local app data and backend operational data as described in our Privacy Policy, including display names, app-generated user identifiers, usage counters, sponsor interaction events, campaign records, and leaderboard scores (display name, streak, points, and impact totals). Before scores are uploaded to the global leaderboard, the App asks for your explicit consent. Agreeing is required to use the App; if you decline, you cannot continue using Daily Impact.

Global leaderboard

After you consent, your display name and scores may appear on a global leaderboard visible to other App users. Do not enter a display name you are unwilling to share publicly in the App. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including cheating, automation abuse, infrastructure attacks, unauthorized scraping, reverse engineering to bypass limits, harassment, or unlawful use.

Admin-managed content

Challenge content, sponsor listings, sponsor payment records, and other operational information may be created or modified by authorized administrators. We may update or remove content at any time for safety, accuracy, or operations.

Third-party services

The service relies on third-party providers including Supabase and Apple platform services. Their own terms and policies may also apply.

Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DAILY IMPACT IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS/DATA ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE.

Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. Continued use means you accept the revised Terms.
